She studied at the Department of Painting at Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts (ASP) in years 1997-2002. In 2002 Kiesner defended her diploma, which got awarded for the search for new ways of expression, tutored by prof. J. Modzelewski. She wrote a theoretical thesis “In edita” of A. Wróblewski under the auspices of dr Agnieszka Morawińska. In 2005 and 2007 the artist won scholarships by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. She is a co-member of the studio at 11 Listopada street in Warsaw Praga district. Since 2008 Kiesner has been a lecturer at APS Art Education Institute in Warsaw. She is also in the course of doctoral studies at UMK in Toruń.
