She studied at the Department of Fine Arts at UMK in Toruń. In 1989 she completed it in the studio run by prof. J. Kaczmarski. In 1991 Stasiak did her post-graduate studies at The Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art in Oxford under the auspices of prof. Stephen Farthing. In 1998 the artist went to Paris on a scholarship by the Aid Fund for Polish Independet Literature and Science to stay there for two months and make interpretations of the last painting by Poussin “Apollo in love with Daphne”. She is a co-author (along with J. A. Zieliński) of primary school and junior high school manuals – “The world of art” series. Since 1996 the artist has been running her own gallery In Spe.
In 2002 she made an exhibition “Gouaches, water-colours, drawings by Andrzej Wróblewski. Inedita.” In years 2006-08 she was the Director of Art Education Institute at Special Education Academy in Warsaw [APS]. She is also a professor and lecturer at APS in Warsaw.
